Bayern Munich 1-1 Chelsea (PEN: 3-4)

Chelsea have done it yet again! They've won their 2nd trophy this season which is the Champions League trophy! That was a really emotional and nerve-wracking! When Muller scored the first goal for Bayern Munich in the 83rd minute, I thought it was all over for Chelsea - but I kept on believing that Chelsea could bounce back into the game and blow Bayern away. Fortunately, they did! All thanks to a Didier Drogba header into the top right corner having the #1 German keeper Neuer no chance to keep it out.

It went into extra time and Drogba made a silly challenge on Ribery in the box. Penalty was given to Bayern and this is the second time I thought it was over - BUT I KEPT ON BELIEVING! I clasped my hands together, hoping for a lucky save by Petr Cech. Robben was the taker and I had a feeling that he would score. Luckily for us, Cech pulled off a magnificent save! The ball slipped through Cech's arms, but bounced off his body leaving it unattended behind him. He quickly got to it and held it like a newborn baby! Chelsea was still safe, and Drogba is not the man to blame after such challenge. Everyone was looking tired except for the fresh legs like Fernando Torres and Ivica Olic, maybe.

Thus, both halves of extra time were over and it was then brought to penalties. First for Bayern, Lahm. He sent to the right side of the goal with Cech having a touch to it, but failed to keep it out. First for Chelsea, Juan Mata. Unfortunately, he didn't score with Neuer going the right and pushing his shot out. The second penalty taker for Bayern was Mario Gomez. His one went in too! The second taker for Chelsea was David Luiz. Remember his penalty that didn't go in against Racing Genk? The commentator mentioned something about that when Luiz was about to take it. Thank God, it went in. Way to go! The third penalty taker for Bayern was Neuer himself! I bet he was trying to pressure and shake Cech to lose his confidence and concentration. He got it right into the net, and Cech also went the right way, but couldn't save it. The third Chelsea taker was Frank Lampard. I've always believed in Lampard to take penalties. Great for the captain, he smashed it right in the middle which flew right above Neuer and into the net.

The next taker for Bayern was Ivica Olic. Unlucky for him, his shot was punched out by Cech! Super reflexes by the Czech goalkeeper! As for Chelsea, Ashley Cole was up. I had a feeling that he would score, and he did! He took it brilliantly! Curling the ball into the far left of Neuer. No chance at all. The fifth taker for Bayern was... Bastian Schweinsteiger. I thought he was going to score, but he sent to the ball to the right side of the goal, Cech got his fingertips to it, and it struck the woodwork! Unbelievable! Next it was Drogba's turn! The last and final kick of the game which could seal the win for Chelsea, and for the trophy, of course! He sent Neuer the wrong way and he couldn't believe it himself! My goodness! Amazing, breathtaking game! I bet Roman Abramovich would want to keep Roberto Di Matteo, interim manager for Chelsea after AVB, as the permanent manager for Chelsea next season! 2 trophies in 6 months. Amazing.

Here's the penalty shootout video:

CONGRATULATIONS, CHELSEA!!!

CHE 2 - 1 MC

I couldn't believe what I saw when I checked Twitter this morning! I was thinking that Chelsea might have lost to Manchester City, but ---- I was wrong. Not until I saw 'on the winning of a big three points' by Chelsea FC's Official Twitter! It was shocking, really. Yet it gave a great relief to have defeated Manchester City with the scoreline of 2 - 1 who hasn't been defeated by any teams in the BPL. In fact, we inflicted their first BPL defeat this season! My goodness...

AVB: 'We had a bad run of results and we needed a change which we did in two big games. The players deserve credit.'

You're right, AVB. We did have a bad run, but your words of encouragement and never-ending support helped us pull through this! You didn't give up - not once. I hope it's not too early to thank you because you deserve it, good sir. Enjoy your life as a Chelsea manager and I hope you can continue your winning ways!

Ahh. It could've been a heart-pounding match to watch! I even asked Fikri to wake me up at 4, but once he did, I was so tired that I went back to sleep. I want to see how Balotelli scored just in 2 minutes in the game. I want to see how Raul Meireles scored. And I definitely want to see how Frank Lampard confidently took his penalty which wasn't saved by England's #1 Joe Hart. Well done, Blues!!! KTBFFH

La Evolucion!

I find this picture funny. I just knew he's wearing the mask for his broken nose. I hope he doesn't suffer anymore injuries! He has suffered enough! Yet, he is still the best goalkeeper we could ever afford!

CH3LSEA - AR5ENAL

Not quite happy about Chelsea's performance and the result last night. We had the chance to trail Manchester United by 1 point again! Torres wasn't seen converting chances, but Sturridge did a great job! We could've won the game. The scoreline was 3 - 5 and the worse part is that we lost at Home. The last two goals blasted by Arsenal's RvP with serious lack of defense.

"Mata should have been man of the match. He assisted the first goal and scored the third. Terry despite scoring the second had an awful game at the back as he was too concerned with pushing forward which led to counter attacks that we couldn't deal with. That exposed us and led to 3/4 of Arsenal's goals." ~David Westcough on Facebook.

The first mistake was Terry tripping allowing RvP to sprint through with the ball and made it past Cech. The second was poor marking by Bosingwa and Cech only had one arm to reach out to the fast and strong ball and failed to keep it out. Well, nevertheless Mata was incredible. Ashley Cole too! No doubt that he's the best left-back in Chelsea! Win or lose, up the Blues!

Congratulations to Manchester United for a 0 - 1 Away win against Everton. And also to Liverpool who is currently leading 2 - 0 against West Brom. Next gameweek awaits!

Too good to be true.

Chelsea lost against QPR tonight with an unbelivably 9 men down on the pitch. J. Bosingwa was the first to see a red card and a few minutes after, D. Drogba too. I didn't see the match though, but I'm glad I didn't. If I did, I would be out of my mind! Chelsea didn't deserve to lose. Although with 9 men, Chelsea still stood strong and held the scoreline. QPR just got lucky with a penalty slotted home by Helgusson in the 11th minute. Damn. Well, we could've gotten second place in the premier league table, but all's well that ends well.

Manchester United had a rough day too! They lost against Manchester City (at home) with a scoreline of 1 - 6 with two goals from E. Dzeko and one from D. Silva in the final minutes of stoppages. Smiling faces for Arsenal and Tottenham fans though. Both teams won against their opponents. Well, the next gameweek awaits!

Happy 18th Birthday, Ajeerah Mutalib!
Enjoy your day today with beloved friends and family. May Allah bless you always. Take care!

Glory Manchester United.

Manchester United 2 - 1 Chelsea

It's all over for Chelsea. Manchester United have closed the gap in the title race. Sad to say that it has been derailed. United got lucky in the first couple of minutes when Ji Sung Park's pass bounced off David Luiz's foot and made way for Hernandez to pummel it right into the net to put United in front. The second goal for United was clean. Ashley Cole shouldn't have waited for the ball to reach him. Therefore, Vidic headed it in to make it 2. I thought Frank Lampard's goal could put Chelsea back in the title race. They had such a little hope, but finally the whistle blew for full time and Old Trafford went wild ensuring Manchester United's victory (and not to mention their 19th league win).

It was a tough and thrilling match. Grandpa also stayed up with us to watch the game. Hakiim went to bed early just after the first half. To be honest, I am disappointed in Chelsea's result tonight, but Manchester United deserved to win as they were already 3 points away from Chelsea in the first place. I bid you farewell and wish you a good night's sleep (for United fans, that is). Better luck next time, Blues! I will forever keep the blue flag flying high

Chelsea 2 - 1 Tottenham

Chelsea 2 – 1 Tottenham Hotspur

I'm sleeping over at Omar's now with companions, Akin and Omar's cousin, "Dookie". We've just finished watching Chelsea's match against Tottenham.

It was a nerve-racking match between both strong teams. Both teams did great full time, but Tottenham with only a couple of chances. First blood goes to Tottenham's Sandro who blasted a powerful shot which passed through Petr Cech who had less chance to push the ball away. Frank Lampard scored just before the end of the first half and it was quite controversial, but the officials declared it was a goal and had given hope to the Blues to dominate in the second half once again. Didier Drogba's thunder shots from yards away were brilliant as well! It was close to the end of the game and I was hoping for an equaliser from Chelsea and surprisingly, I got it! Super sub Salomon Kalou knocked it in with a hard-to-tell offside and seals the win for Chelsea who is now three points behind Manchester United.

Now, we await for Arsenal's match against Manchester United tomorrow morning. Hope Arsenal can do us a favour. Good night!

Chelsea thrashed. (Sorry, Chels)

Ashif is chilling over at my place now and we played three crazy matches! (Third's the craziest!) He played using Chelsea whereas I played using Tottenham. I lost two matches in a row, but came back and whooped his ass in the third match. And the scoreline was too many to fit the final scoreboard. Here it is:

Déjà vu all over again..

I don't think I'll be able to watch Chelsea's game against Manchester United tonight - AGAIN! Mom has not yet activated the Astro SmartCard in the living room, but had done it for the one in her bedroom. Not fair. Viewing the scores online is just not as exciting as watching the match live! I'm bored now. I just hope someone could bring me out tonight to watch the game or just hang out.

A pair of Brazilians seals the win!

Chelsea 2 – 0 Manchester City

I couldn't watch the game because my Astro SmartCard is inactive. Boohoo! But nevertheless, Chelsea has won at the Bridge against Manchester City with a scoreline of 2 - 0. With a beautiful cross from Didier Drogba, Brazilian defender, David Luiz, did it again for the second time for the Blues with a powerful header into the net. City's goalkeeper got his hand on the ball, but didn't manage to keep it out. I was afraid that City might get back into the game and score an equaliser, but Ramires made it two with a superb solo effort to seal the win! Birthday boy Fernando Torres, who turns 27 yesterday, didn't get his birthday goal, but did play a great first half. Just by reading Chelsea FC's tweets, I knew the Blues were looking sharp today -- with excellent defending from David Luiz. Thanks to ESPN Live for keeping me updated on the game! I shall sleep well tonight. Also congratulations to Liverpool for winning against Sunderland, also with a scoreline of 0 - 2.

PES 2009: Chelsea Home and Away kits.

I've just finished updating and editing Chelsea's kits in my PES 2009. I tried to edit them as accurate as possible. Here they are:

Chelsea's Home Kit.

Chelsea's Away Kit.

Goalkeeper's Home Kit.

Goalkeeper's Away Kit.

It's not much. I couldn't have done it without the update. I like the home kit. I wish I could have it. :)
