Happy 21st Birthday Fathul!

Our surprise birthday for Fathul - somehow - failed! We were really expecting him to be surprised just how every other successful surprises would be like! This is how it went down:

After Friday prayer, I went over to my dad's place. I had lunch there and I kept myself busy until 3 o'clock. Malai picked me up half an hour after and off we went to buy Fathul's cake at Lof Bakery in Kiulap. I went home for a while after that because I had to change my clothes and to get the keys to their place.

We met up at Fathul's place around 4+. We didn't head up straight because we were still thinking of where to "hide" the cars. At last, they just parked their cars just a block away from their flat. I knew and had a positive feeling that he wasn't going to come home early because the last time he came back from work was at 5:22 pm.

Feeling so calmed and relaxed, we went upstairs while thinking of what to do when he arrived home. We settled down and started planning, but a few minutes in the midst of it, we heard someone budging the door. First person that came to mind? Fathul! We knew it had to be him! Without any hesitation, we automatically TRIED to hide ourselves as quick as we could! I hid behind the door, but sadly, was spotted by Fathul because the door bounced off my sandals. It felt awkward! Birthday boy wasn't surprised! Well, maybe he was a little because I told him that I was at my dad's place. Surely he didn't expect me to be there! Eventually, Malai and Nieza came out - laughing! Because the surprise failed!

Anyhoot, he blew out the candles and there stood a happy man. Unfortunately, the cake wasn't that delicious. It only looked delicious, but really - it's not. At least someone's happy to have found his girlfriend, his brother's girlfriend and his old friend having to show up at his place!

Seriously. I thought you're turning 20! Still young — forever young lah, huh? Anyhoot, have an awesome day today! Celebrate it with the people you love — especially with Fathul! Hehehe! Take good care of yourself! May Allah bless you.

Ahh! The new student as of this year in SOASC. Good guy. Fun to hang out with. Has lots of stories if opened up with. Sahrul loves this boy to bits! Have a blast, man. God bless.

Sushi Kings.

It has been a great day indeed! We made our cancelled Miri trip on Wednesday happen today! All thanks to Afiq for using his car to drive the long miles and for reaching our destination safely. Even Malai tagged along. We drove out a little bit early today, probably around 11, because Afiq had to service his car which was in Tutong after picking up Fathul and Fikri.



We reached Miri around 2 o'clock. We were hungry so we decided to eat at Sushi King. I clearly remember us waiting for an hour for the weekday 20% promotion which starts at 3 PM 'til 5 PM. We still had a couple of more minutes to spare so we went to Toys'R'Us to buy "Malai's toy". She bought the "Bop It" thingy. I'm sure most of you know of it. It's a fun toy to play with! First time playing it too! The gist of the game is to do what the toy commands you to do. For example; it says, "Twist it". Then you'll have to twist one of the parts respectively. It's just that, when you incorrectly do it, you have start all over again. Another cool thing: It holds a high score! Hahaha.

It was already 3 PM so we headed down to Sushi King. To be honest, I ate quite a lot! I'm sure the guys did too! Similar to the 'shop 'til you drop' kind of thing. Hahaha. I only carried RM200+ and thankfully, it only costed less. What more on its 20% discount. We didn't do much after that. Headed home around 6 - 7. Meeting point was at Fathul's dad's place in Tutong.



I just remembered that the birthday boy, Dindin, was having a BBQ party at his place. Afiq and Fathul parked their cars in Kiulap and we waited for Malai to pick us up and go there in a single ride. There were a lot of people. I've seen and met familiar and unfamiliar faces; Hafiz, Geez, Rastamann, Haji, Memet, Dayat etc. Good to know the guys are in good health, just enjoying themselves throughout the party. I wasn't really hungry so I didn't touch even a food there. Only drank because I was really thirsty from all the singing in the cars on our way back home from Miri. We didn't stay long and so, we went home. I hope to see any of you guys again in the near future!



I feel so tired from all that eating and walking and joking about uncontrollably in the car along the way. I'm hoping for a good night's sleep tonight. So.. good night, guys! Thanks for reading!

F I R E works.

Fathul and Malai brought me out yesterday. We went to Gadong before, but there's not much to talk about anyway. During the night, we went to the waterfront in Bandar that Harith and Muhyi had been talking about in the evening. The place was crowded! Parkings were all full except for narrow spaces - unless you want to squeeze in and block other cars from getting out. For us, we parked at the Metro parking just in front of the cemetery. The entrance and exit was smooth. We picked up a spot just near by the roadside. When the fireworks started, people started to take out their mobile phones to video record, cameras to snap shots while others just enjoyed the beautiful night with their families and friends gazing above. I video recorded the fireworks! And.. I actually have no idea why though, but oh well.

After it was over, we went to Kiulap to meet up with Fikri and Nieza. They had a mini belated dinner party to attend. I don't know - for one of Nieza's friends, I think. Fikri joined us and we decided to go Gadong with Nieza when Fikri saw another set of fireworks while stopping at a traffic. We cancelled our plan to go Gadong and went back to Bandar instead. Traffic was heavy. In the end, we went round and round. I also don't know why we did, but it was fun!

They're sleeping over and we're staying up to watch Manchester United's match against FC Barcelona. I can't wait to watch it! (Better make use of the Astro in my room while it is still there!) Hehehe! May the best team win! Go United.. I mean, Barcelona! :3

Double the fun!

Had an exciting day in school today. I got acquainted with some of Ashif's friends there. Luckily there was a guitar and playing cards to help me get acquainted. I wanted to play futsal, but I didn't want to get sweaty. Lol. I guess the next step is to wait for my first debut in either the "canteen" or the "arena". (As mentioned by Sharin) :P

I was in the middle of working out today when suddenly Fikri texted me up. He told me that he's in Gadong with Nieza and also about the new arrival of the "golden" Timberland shoes. I've wanted that golden pair for since the day I bought the pair of dark browns! Nieza came over a couple of minutes later to fetch me - Fathul was there too! Okay. So about the pair of Timbaland: It cost around $150 so Fikri and I split 50/50. [Buy 1, free 1.] Yes, we bought the same colour because I remember us making a promise to buy that pair of shoes together some time back. After buying the shoes, we went shopping in Jaya Hypermart. I bought myself a new pair of gray jeans, a Stewie boxer shorts and a new pair of football stockings while Fikri bought a new pair of black jeans. Only spent below $30 only for those items. Good stuff! Eventually, Malai tagged along from there.

Since today's Tuesday, we went to Pizza Hut for its Double Tuesday! One pan of Honey Garlic Chicken and another pan of Tuna Delight. I didn't eat any of the HGC because I was craving for tuna. Four slices were already enough to fill this stomach of mine. Besides, I've eaten two slices in Nieza's car. Another dinner filled with laughter; especially from Nieza and Malai. They were talking about the Hantu Kak Limah movie and laughed out uncontrollably as if nobody was there to see them! But I don't think nobody cared anyways. Thanks for the outing, guys! Made my day/night.
