Chelsea 2 - 1 Tottenham

Chelsea 2 – 1 Tottenham Hotspur

I'm sleeping over at Omar's now with companions, Akin and Omar's cousin, "Dookie". We've just finished watching Chelsea's match against Tottenham.

It was a nerve-racking match between both strong teams. Both teams did great full time, but Tottenham with only a couple of chances. First blood goes to Tottenham's Sandro who blasted a powerful shot which passed through Petr Cech who had less chance to push the ball away. Frank Lampard scored just before the end of the first half and it was quite controversial, but the officials declared it was a goal and had given hope to the Blues to dominate in the second half once again. Didier Drogba's thunder shots from yards away were brilliant as well! It was close to the end of the game and I was hoping for an equaliser from Chelsea and surprisingly, I got it! Super sub Salomon Kalou knocked it in with a hard-to-tell offside and seals the win for Chelsea who is now three points behind Manchester United.

Now, we await for Arsenal's match against Manchester United tomorrow morning. Hope Arsenal can do us a favour. Good night!
