It's all over for Chelsea. Manchester United have closed the gap in the title race. Sad to say that it has been derailed. United got lucky in the first couple of minutes when Ji Sung Park's pass bounced off David Luiz's foot and made way for Hernandez to pummel it right into the net to put United in front. The second goal for United was clean. Ashley Cole shouldn't have waited for the ball to reach him. Therefore, Vidic headed it in to make it 2. I thought Frank Lampard's goal could put Chelsea back in the title race. They had such a little hope, but finally the whistle blew for full time and Old Trafford went wild ensuring Manchester United's victory (and not to mention their 19th league win).
It was a tough and thrilling match. Grandpa also stayed up with us to watch the game. Hakiim went to bed early just after the first half. To be honest, I am disappointed in Chelsea's result tonight, but Manchester United deserved to win as they were already 3 points away from Chelsea in the first place. I bid you farewell and wish you a good night's sleep (for United fans, that is). Better luck next time, Blues! I will forever keep the blue flag flying high
