Flick Kick Football.

There's this addicting game that I played in class earlier on Yusree's iPhone. It's called Flick Kick Football. Yusree's high score is 148. I tried to break it but the highest that I could get was 74. It needs to be broken sometime. :)

I want to get an iPhone but I'm still not sure if I should or not. Is it worth it?

New Twitter background.

Can't see who is on my Twitter background? Check it out now! I made the design all by myself last night. I still kept the white swirls to make it look more - alive. The arrows are new and the colours match with her dress.

Tekken not taken.

I watched Tekken with Amin, Azrin, Sahrul and Omar around 2 today. I was late for the movie and missed the first few early parts until the scene where they made out in some kind of factory or somewhere. Let's see.. Tekken, in fact, sucks ass. I expected the characters to look the same as they were in the game. The only characters that looked alike were Bryan Fury, Raven and Anna Williams. Isn't Christie supposed to fight with a capoiera stance? Eddy looks young and Heihachi is short. Hahaha! Maybe some of you will have a different taste when watching. On a scale of 1 to 10? I'd give it a 7.5 - the other 2.5 for the characters' appearances.

English orals.

I slept for an hour during the last double periods of Mathematics earlier. Also, I had my English orals today. I was quite tired. I did good. The topics given were about why parents expect too much on their children and about my friends. Mrs. Manik mistook me for Amin. Do we even look the same? Now that the mock orals are finally done with, revising is all there's left to do. Our mock written exams are on the 14th August, 2010. I hope I am well-prepared.

Best goal celebration ever!

When Halldor Orri scores a great goal, he decides to go fishing and catch on his mate, Johann Laxdal or Johann the salmon. The game was Stjarnan against Fylkir in the top league in Iceland and the goal was the winning goal in extra time.

Report: Teen who survived 16-story fall walks days later.

New Zealand boy expected to make full recovery after death-defying fall.

A 15-year-old boy who survived falling 16 floors through a parking lot roof and onto a concrete floor is up and walking just days after his death-defying accident, according to news reports out of New Zealand.

The New Zealand Herald said the teenager stunned doctors at the Middlemore Hospital in Auckland when he began walking on Monday, just four days after he was admitted.
On Thursday night, the boy fell 14 stories from the balcony of an apartment complex and crashed into the parking lot roof and then onto a concrete floor two stories further. Crashing into the roof most likely saved his life, the Herald reported.

Neil Thomson, an associate professor of physics at New Zealand's University of Otag, told the newspaper that someone falling from that height would reach roughly 62 miles per hour by the time of impact.

"[His] friends will be shaken up," Bradley Fenner, the headmaster of the boy's school, told the Herald. "But we are celebrating his miraculous survival, and we're looking forward to having him back amongst us at school."

The teen sustained a broken wrist, broken rib, gouged leg and internal injuries from the 160-foot fall.

He will be released from the hospital on Friday and is expected to make a full recovery, New Zealand media reported.

The Herald reported that the cause of the fall is unknown, and that police are not investigating further. They inspected the chest-high, glass balcony and found it safe, the paper said. Source from msnbc.com.

Futsal at Kebajikan.

I just got back from an awesome yet tiring night playing futsal at Kebajikan. We played from 7 until 9. I'd like to thank Waie Saiful for the invitation! Thank goodness we had enough players to start the game. It was a 6-on-6 game. Our team consisted of Amin, Omar, Malik, Waie Saiful, a friend of his dad and myself. We were really dominating in the game, I tell ya! It looked as if each one of us was eager to play. Each one of us had the chances to score, passing was terrific and teamwork was worth it. It was filled with laughters because the floor was slippery. I think everyone slipped and fell during the game. Again, thank you!

Done with my Malay orals.

At last I did my Malay orals without any hesitation. The comprehension wasn't bad after all. It was about the oil and gas industry. What else to say about my dialogue - the topics that the teacher asked me was about my hobby and what are the uses of the mosques. It went well and I am glad that it's over. Now for the English orals. I hope I can do better than in the Malay orals.

This message goes to you - you know who you are. I tried talking to you about it nicely and you just walked away without saying anything. I apologized and now it's all up to you. I'm not making a choice here. I hope you give it a deep thought. I am ready to shake hands if you are.

NEW TRACK! The Forever Bird - Inspired.

I've made a new track entitled 'Inspired'. It is the eleventh track in the album, 'Pleasant Days' so far. It is July 25th's work and I've managed to finish it by tonight. It's a good thing that I've got my inspirations to do so. Give it a listen! I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I did! (If it says, 'This track is currently not available', go to the URL manually. Thanks!)

Welcome back, #22!

I was feeling nervous as I walked my way to class because I didn't know if my new haircut would surprise my friends. I took a deep breath and waited for the reactions. The guys at the back wooed and complimented. I felt relieved. I'm still getting used to it though because there are certain people that I'm afraid to face - like you over at the waiting area. All's well that ends well. Looks are just looks. It's what's inside that matters, right?

After school today, Nick held a meeting for the team. It was concerning our number 22. He said that he wants Ashif back in the team but probationally so we await for his answer if he wants in or not. Fingers crossed and Ashif agreed. All of us were so glad to have him back! Some of them even started hugging him. I congratulated him myself. It's good to have you back in the team, man. I chatted with him awhile ago and I asked him how did he feel. He said that he felt loved.

You deserve a second chance - so does everyone else!

The Sorcerer's Apprentice.

I dozed off early last night - 12 o'clock? It is to me. I usually go to bed around 1 or 2. It's only for an hour or two but whatever. It's because I was tired and.. distressed but I did get up in the morning and I'm glad. Least I didn't walk the day feeling lazy or tired. Fathul couldn't join us because the place he was at was partly flooded.

In the afternoon, we had our lunch at the food court in Gadong Properties because Zul's dad called us over. While I was choosing what food to eat, the girl eventually pointed out to my favourite dish - butter milk chicken. It tasted delightful, all right! After that, Fikri left us and went to Gadong because he had to meet up with his girlfriend. It wasn't long until we bumped into Zuki and his brother. Fikri had company to walk along the way. I thought we were going back home but Zul's parents decided to watch a movie at Seri Qlap. We watched 'The Sorcerer's Apprentice' which stars Nicolas Cage and Jay Baruchel. It was really epic yet funny! You should watch it for yourself! It's just - WOW!

After the movie, we decided to go for our haircuts so off we went to Magstar. The hairstylist, Michael said we came just in time because it was almost time for him to go home. Finally - fresh haircuts!

Pilot ejects an instant before fighterjet crashes.

You know every time when you log in your Windows Live Messenger and eventually a Today window pops up? (Some of you might check the 'Don't show me this again' box) I used to get sick of that and had it disabled. But a few days ago, I let it pop up for every time I log in. You see, I'd like to know more of what's happening on the other side of the world. Besides, I don't really watch television to see the news. You should too! The topics aren't that bad! I found this topic about a pilot ejecting an instant before fighterjet crashes.

Pilot Capt. Brian Bews ejects as his a CF-18 fighter jet plummets to the ground during a practice flight at the Lethbridge County Airport on Friday, July 23 for the weekend airshow in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. "He is alive and we believe right now that his injuries are non-life-threatening," Canadian Forces Capt. Nicole Meszaros told CBC News. Source from msnbc.com.

I'm glad the pilot did well in the ejection.

A pleasant day?

I thought I was late for school because I woke up 20 minutes before the class started. I got up, got ready and headed for school. When I arrived, I entered the class to find no one there. I texted my friend, Sahrul up to know where he was. He didn't reply but luckily, two of my friends came in late as well. We went up to the AVA Room and there they were. It looked like only a few came but I was wrong. Amin and Azrin were absent. Amin didn't attend it because he was coughing real bad and he doesn't want his friends to get sick. Yeah, sure! :p Two hours of Geography felt like the normal double periods we have every Wednesday. As for Chemistry, well, let's just say some of us had an hour of free time. 0:)

After Friday prayer, Fathul picked me up from home to go fishing at Sungai Besar. We sent Fikri to Gadong first though because he had a movie to catch with his girlfriend. Three fishing rods, two guys and a big bottle of ice lemon tea - I knew it was going to be a pleasant day! Low tide today but the cool breeze saves the day from spoiling. Fathul was busy assembling the rods while I was busy equipping the hook and the weight. We had no trouble doing them but eventually did when it came to hooking the prawns. Fathul accidentally slipped three prawns while he was going to hook it, letting them escape. Something in the water kept on tugging until I had to pull by force, therefore losing three hooks. Two weights rolled over and down. We were expecting to catch one or two but still - no luck. Sigh. It wasn't such a pleasant day after all. But we had a good chilling time anyway. We even went early because we lack of baits.

There's going to be a for-fun futsal match tomorrow organized by eX! I'm not sure if I'm coming though but I'll let Zul or Fathul know. Also, I'll be having my haircut with Zul. Can't wait!

Cinta Bagai Bintang.

Two days ago, we made a quick Malay song entitled 'Cinta Bagai Bintang'. Amin on vocals, Waie Saiful on the background and myself on the guitar. Have a listen here!

Lyrics:

Aku tak bisa memiliki mu
Sampai bila pun ku tak tahu
Ku simpan rahsia ini bertahun-tahun
Tapi kau tak sedari bawa
Selama ini ku mencintaimu whoa~

Hidupmu bahagia tanpa ku disisimu
Maafkan ku sekali ini lagi
Cinta ini seperti bintang di langit
Tanpamu disini membuat ku sedih

Bayanganmu takkan pernah
hilang dihatiku
Kau terindah yang pernah ku cintai
tapi tak bisa ku miliki

Hidupmu bahagia tanpa ku disisimu
Maafkan ku sekali ini lagi
Cinta ini seperti bintang di langit
Tanpamu disini membuat ku sedih
Membuat ku sedih
Tanpamu disini membuat ku sedih

Aku tak bisa memilikimu
Sampai bila pun ku tak tahu

Will you?

Have you ever felt that there are some things that you would like to get off your chest but you just couldn't tell this particular person because you're afraid to do so? Yes. That's how I feel right now. I need help. Extra help. I am afraid to make the move. Will you be there to help me when I do?

#22 vamos!

After school, Nick arranged a meeting for Cobra F.C. He has elected Waie Saiful was elected as the treasurer, Amin as the second captain, I was in-charge of the team management, Wafiy as the disciplinarian and Harith Waie and Azrin of the fitness training. We've been informed that our away jersey is coming so we'll just have to sit tight and so do our training kits (Miss Tasha's jersey).

I can't believe there's school for us tomorrow. Two hours of Geography because Commerce is exchanged to another date and an hour of Chemistry! == Help, please..

Holy stuff.

Last night, I watched 'The Book Of Eli'. The story revolves around Eli, a nomad in a post-apocalyptic world, who is charged with delivering his copy of a book, the last remaining Bible (a King James Version translation) to a safe location on the West Coast of the United States. The history of the post-war world is explained along the way as is the importance of Eli's task. Source from Wikipedia.

This movie reminds me of the game, 'Fallout 3' except for the way that he fights. He has this kind of martial arts movement - skilful with the blade and even the gun. He is the type of guy who doesn't want to get in trouble but ends up fighting anyway because he is forced to. Cool guy! I know this movie came out some time around February but it's a good thing that I've finally watched it! ^_^

Just a while ago, I just finished watching 'Solomon Kane'. I've watched the trailer a few months ago and I have to say, the movie itself was off the hook! Awesome movie! Mad fighting skills. He is more to the lone-warrior type of character. Also involving the holy stuffs. Two movies of holy stuffs? Where am I going with this? Hahahaha!

Maktab Sains carnival.

Tayib, Amin, Harith Waie and Waie Saiful slept over last night. My room suddenly became so spacious after we moved the couch to one side for the mattresses. We watched 'Grown Ups'. Amin and Tayib fell asleep. The next morning, Amin watched it again and finally understood the movie. He had his laugh all right! "HEY! WHAT'S UP, LADIES?!" You should watch it! I know it was released in June but honestly, I rarely go out to watch the latest movies. It sucks because I have to watch 'em on a DVD but hey! At least I only get to spend a few dollars! ;) These five make a good comedy when it comes to acting! (Y)

Actually, we were late for the carnival that was held at Maktab Sains. We were supposed to go there around 11 o'clock but due to our shower delay, we arrived at around 2. We haven't had our brunch -- decided to at the carnival anyway. It was super duper fun! I met some old pals of mine when we were in primary and others too! Aaron CJ was also there! It was a pleasant surprise! It was nice meeting you again, man. I hope to meet you again soon!

First, we strolled around the Fun House in the auditorium. We didn't play any games though but we did see two guys blowing ping-pong balls out in a pot full of powder. Man, I didn't know the school was THAT huge! Seriously. The school is complicated for someone very new like me. I had trouble finding a toilet. We even circled the school to find one. In the end, I used the auditorium's anyway. Soon, we were starving so we headed off to the cafeteria. We had cheeseburgers from Jollibee and drinks from a normal stall. Good stuff. A Band Once was there as well! I guess they were special guests performing at the carnival. Their songs are not that bad actually. I don't really listen to them but the lyrics were good! Keep spreading the local love, guys!

We went back around 5 o'clock. I sent Waie Saiful and Harith Waie back home but Amin and Tayib decided to stay at my place a little longer. In fact, we had a jam recording session covering 'Everything' and 'Haven't Met You Yet' by Michael Buble, 'Hey, Soul Sister' by Train and 'Nothin' On You' by B.o.B and Bruno Mars. The songs are in Tayib's Macbook. I was amazed when it released a high quality in recording. I'm getting a Mac sooner or later. (6)

I guess I'll watch 'The Book of Eli' soon. After that, I'll hit the sack. Life starts tomorrow, man. There are no more events for this month as far as we can tell. Mocks are around the corner. I am not ready. Really.

By the way, Amin seriously got pwned by Tayib today! HAHAHAHA!

I saw an angel. Of that, I'm sure.

Ten million fireflies caught in a bad romance.

I think we got the crowd going back there earlier. The practice was worth it! Although Qi Hao and I might have hurt our fingers from all the strumming. But for the sake of our performance, we just had to sacrifice ourselves. A combination of Fireflies and Bad Romance may not suit the melody but we sure killed the performance! If it wasn't for Tayib's last minute pose stances, we wouldn't have gotten as much applause as we could! Thank you to all of you who sang along and supported! Munibah and Callistus did a very good job covering 'Hey, Soul Sister' too! I'm going to miss strumming the guitar on stage because this may be the last time I'll perform for an occasion like Lit Fest or Friendship Day. Also, congratulations to Patricia Chong for being the best speaker for the debate.

Check out this poster my best friend, Hafizah Sufian made regarding Lit Fest:

She did it all by herself. It looks fantastic, don't you think? The quote sounds nerdy but what the heck. It means a lot!

Dance flick.

Since it has been a long time that I met Afiq, I decided to give him some entertainment. Epic fail at the end. Enjoy!

Lit PestFest.

I didn't attend the extra classes today. I was lazy because I thought it would ruin my Friday. Well, my Friday was ruined after all by missing the Friday prayer because my driver didn't want to go. I had no idea why. Things were all okay after that because the practice for Lit Fest was still on. There were only a few of us and I think we did great. Tayib was practising for the choir. I hope we can do better during the actual day. Oh! I even met Afiq whom I haven't seen for so long! It was a pleasure to see you once again, bro! I hope to see you again soon!

After practice, I sent Tayib to Pusat Belia because he had his badminton training. He got pwned for being late. Sorry! Soon, Amin wanted to cut his hair in Gadong. It's a good thing because I also wanted to buy a few DVDs there. While Amin was having his haircut, Harith and I waited for him in front of Coffeebean - for an hour. == But no worries. We were waiting for Tayib anyway because he left his wallet.

Thursday, July 15, 2010

Good night, world.

We went fishing today at Sungai Besar in Kota Batu. We bought live baits from around the area there. The first place we went to check for the baits was in Batu Bersurat but they ran out. After that, we tried Pasar Gadong. We surveyed the pasar for a cheap sale for prawns but to no avail. There were anchovies that looked like it would make a good bait so Fikri asked one of the fishmongers. Instead of expecting a yes for an answer, the guy immediately said no. He asked again if there were any live prawns for sale. He laughed. He said that it was his first time hearing that in the place. Prick. ==

Sungai Besar looked familiar. It seemed like I've been there with my step-father before. I think we fished for about an hour or so. Sadly, we had no luck. I had plastic bags hooked on my rod twice! Sometimes, the fishes beneath would eat our baits clean. We'll try again next time. Earlier tonight, we went to Bandar to check out the perayaan that's been going on. The weather was meddling with us. It started to drizzle for a short while but then it stopped. Fathul almost bought an umbrella. Well, the umbrella was costly anyway. I mean, $10 for an umbrella? I'd rather fill myself up with food and drinks. The fireworks were also displayed tonight near Istana Nurul Iman but from our side, the trees were blocking our view so we didn't really stayed that long to watch it. Now I'm back home. All sobered up. Bored with not much to do. I have school tomorrow which sucks. I best be on my way to bed now. Good night, world.

Happy birthday!

Happy 19th Birthday to Ridha!
May Allah bless you. Hope you had a great day today!

Tuesday, July 13, 2010

Happy birthday, nanu!

I just remembered that today is my little sister's birthday!

Happy 9th Birthday to Hassanah!
You know that I love you. Grow up healthily and make us all proud by achieving good grades!

Maktab Duli Open Day.

Maktab Duli's Open Day was really exciting! The school compound is huge! -- and not to forget, CLEAN! There were only about 20 students from our school and a whole lot from the other secondary schools. Also, there were more girls than boys. It almost feels like we're part of the school already. The briefings were well-explained. The school staff were friendly. Shavez even mentioned that there was a black court especially for futsal. We took a look at it after we prayed at the boy's hostel. I even met Fathul and Geez there when they were having their personal study. It was nice to see you guys! If only Azrin, Sahrul and Omar were there. We were having fun tweeting about what we said. You can check out my Twitter for 'em. Hilarious!

The last event was the school tour. The art room was probably the best! The artworks looked fantastic! Time passed by so fast that when they gave us the tour, it was already near to 3:30 PM!

I didn't go home straight. Instead, we stayed back in school to rehearse for tomorrow's audition. I hope Amin can nail the pitch and memorize the lyrics for the two songs.

Monday, July 12, 2010

At least we tried.

Earlier this afternoon, there were three events (to be held during Lit Fest) to see which two houses will qualify for each of it. Danson screwed up in role-play. The main actors were Qi Hao, Tayib, Nick and I. Nick couldn't make it because of some reasons and Tayib arrived late. Brian and Calvin replaced them for it. Our topic was 'a ghost trying to scare us'. Qi Hao and I were doing good talking in British accent at the beginning but then things started to get lamer and lamer. We went brain-dead after our blurry actions. We even went far from the judges. Well, I guess that's over. Hollis and Macdougall qualified for the role-play, by the way. As for Dumb Charade, Danson didn't qualify for it as well! I don't remember which two houses did.

The last event of the day was Just A Minute where you have to talk for a minute only without pauses, 'umms', 'uhhs' and repetition of words. Tayib went in the first round but Benjamin from the Hollis house was chosen. The second round was interesting! Qi Hao's topic about the Monday Blues were sick that he got chosen! I bet he was the first one to talk for a whole minute without any errors! Congratulations, bro! Sharlyn from Macdougall was chosen in the second round too! I went in during the third round with Amin. Sadly, we didn't talk that much because this guy named Kevin from the Macdougall house pwned our asses clean. Hahaha! No worries. At least we tried.

Mrs. Manik wants to hear us play on Wednesday to see if we get to perform or not. We, Secondary 5CS, are going to perform an acoustic medley cover of Fireflies and Bad Romance for Lit Fest. Wish us luck!

This is BS.

I can't believe I'm missing the finals of the World Cup 2010! I really wish I could but then there's something wrong with the Astro. First, I had trouble with the wirings and next, the Astro's smartcard is inactive! Why wasn't I informed earlier? I could've gone out and watch the game with my friends or something. This is JUST great! Upset and disappointed - way to go!

Abang Alim.

I just got back from Omar's. I went to his place around 3 o'clock earlier. Tayib and Amin were the only ones whom I hung out with. We picked Amin up from his facial treatment in Serusop. Besides surfing the net, I played FIFA 2010 against Tayib and Omar. It was shouting the whole way, I tell you. My match against Tayib resulted in a clean win with the scoreline of 1 - 5. Basically, Tayib's score was from an owl goal. However, Omar's match was pretty tight. We played 3 matches altogether.

First match:
Chelsea 1 - 6 Real Madrid

Second match:
Real Madrid 0 - 1 Chelsea

Third match:
World 11 *insert number here* - 1 Chelsea

Clearly, he was using a cheating team with all the strong players but never mind. It's just a game anyway.

I got 3 little navy starfishes from Omar's sister. Soft when touched but has sharp tips. Thank you! I don't know much about starfishes so I did a little research about on what they eat and whether it is still alive or dead. Well..

Q: "How do you know if a starfish is dead? It's a sand sifting one. All my other starfish are ok but it hasn't move in 3 hours, just sitting there on top of the sand." -zippyjr123 from Living Reefs.

A: "Usually, stars will lose its arms before it dies. They kinda just start coming apart.
Yours may just be eating something." -yote from Living Reefs.

Thanks! Now I've got the information I needed!

Waiting on the world to change.

Kevin, Vuili and Qi Hao got their jerseys! Welcome to the club! Our football match against SAS + Knights F.C. was cancelled because most of them didn't show up. Instead, we used the day as our training and eventually, a match practice. In the midst of playing, some firemen came and wanted to play on the field - against us so we accepted their friendly match. I put Cobra F.C. ahead in less than a minute after the firemen's kick-off. Amin scored two other goals and they headed one in. The scoreline is:

Local firemen 1 - 3 Cobra F.C.

We only played the first half because we were already tired. At least, we put out the fire in them. Get it? Hahaha! Waiting for a team for 2 hours that didn't show up and replacing the day with an unexpected training - so not cool. After that, Tayib, Qi Hao, Amin, Malik and I went to Mamih, Kiulap to fill our stomachs. Thank you, Tayib for paying the bill. I think that's enough football for me now. Both of my legs still hurt after I forced myself to run to trigger the first blood. I thought the pain has gone but it has been with me since our school's annual sports day. Man, just heal already! :(

Easy does it.

Waie Saiful's function today was a blast! I thought he invited the guys only - turns out Khairunnisa, Amalina, Bazlaa and her cousin were invited as well! I didn't know Qi Hao was so good at playing guitar. He played 'Cliffs of Dover' and my God, he played it so fantastically although he stopped halfway because he didn't remember the tabs. The room was ever noisy because of Sahrul's disturbance, the guys playing FIFA 2010 on the PS2, the guitars and even playing DotA! I think I lost my voice from all the shouting I did while playing FIFA with Tayib. Well, I had so much fun. Thanks, guys! I hope we can do this again. After the examinations, maybe? :)

I usually have so much to talk about but tonight, not everything that happened comes to mind. I'll make some changes once I do. Good night!

Happy birthday, Mr. Monitor and Gourcuff!

We surprised the birthday boy, Waie Saiful in class after school today. Too bad Vuili went home early. Let me just say:

Happy 17th Birthday to Waie Saiful and Song Vuili
Enjoy the rest of the day, guys! Take care always. May God bless the both of ya!

Thanks to Azrin for the cake. It was yummy!

Schoolboy killed in horrific car crash.

Driver held in police custody

Bandar Seri Begawan - Residents of Kampong Rimba were shocked yesterday when a road accident at noon claimed the life of a schoolboy, just shy of his 12th birthday.

The victim was identified as Yunus Hj Abd Rahman.

As he was trying to cross the road on his bicycle, a car reportedly slammed into him, sending him hurtling around 40 feet before landing by the roadside just after the Rimba Secondary School. The boy was pronounced dead at the scene.

Official reports stated that the 21-year-old driver is now under Police custody for further investigation.

Eyewitness Haji Sabtu Hj Tamam, who was driving on the other lane, told the Borneo Bulletin that the driver apparently lost control of the car, swerved to the side and crashed into the boy that sent him hurtling in front of his eyes. The car then spun behind Haji Sabtu and ended up in the drainage.

Residents in the area recognised the schoolboy as he used to cycle to and from school everyday.

One of them said, "I always see the boy cycle along this road. He usually cycles when the traffic is less, which is around 1pm."

Another man told the Bulletin that regardless of rain or shine, the boy would be seen on his bicycle using the same route during school days.

Haji Sabtu also recalled seeing the boy once at the roadside fixing his bicycle's chain using a small adjustable spanner.

The Royal Brunei Police Force advised motorists to be vigilant and patient on the roads during rush hours and, advised-parents to keep an eye on their children at all times. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin.

Al-Fatihah to the boy who passed away in the accident.

Paul the Octopus -- an oracle?

Is it true? Is it true that they're making bets on an octopus? Kevin told me about 'Paul the Octopus' predicting Germany's matches. So far, the octopus has a 100% record in the World Cup. Check this video out as the octopus predicted Germany's victory against Argentina last night. Unbelievable!

St. Andrew's 43rd Annual Sports Day was a blast!

Our annual sports day held at the SOAS field today was exciting and awesome! Danson's march past got a little out of hand because we missed our performance. We were supposed to stop and do it but our captain kept on marching until we lined ourselves up on the field. The other houses got to do their performances in the midst of their march. We thought we were screwed but luckily one of our fellow mates, Esther ran up to the emcees and demanded for us to do ours after all the other houses got into their line. I was the beatsmaker by drumming on the snare. I had lots of fun! We got third place in the march past but not to worry. I think all of the houses did a fantastic job!

I was so happy to see Danson on top of the ranking table placed in the middle of the field. We were a hundred points away from the other houses. A very job well done to the runners! You make Danson proud! Other chosen schools came for the invitational run as well. It was my first time to try and compete for it. I was the second runner and I could see that my friends were rooting and hoping for our school to win. Unfortunately, we got last place. No need for the long faces, guys. It was just for fun anyway. They've got very fast runners, I tell ya! And as for the 4x100m event; I was supposed to run for it but I injured both my hamstrings during the relay when I was about to hand over the metal rod to Amin. Therefore, Tayib replaced me. I thought Danson would win the 4x100m event but Cornwall lasted their way on track and brought home the victory followed by Danson, Hollis and then Macdougall.

The tug-o-war was carried out as the last event for the day. It was between Hollis and Macdougall - two strong teams to see and prove themselves who is the strongest of all the houses. Hollis won in the first round and Macdougall in the second round. It was a tie and everyone was supporting endlessly. Macdougall lost control in the last round and Hollis emerged victorious. Congratulations to the tug-o-war winners! It has been a very great and promising day for all of us! Thank you, guys!

Danson is so fine.

I was tired and sleepy but not until I received a word of hello from a friend. You really made my day!

Big day tomorrow! Danson's practice went smooth and lively in the basketball court today! Tayib was in-charge of giving our the commands but he's not marching during the real day though. As for me, I didn't practice for the marching but I'll be beating the snare drum to the beat of the march in the middle of the group on the real day as well. I hope to see as much Danson than I did today.

The current ranking is:

#1 Danson
#2 Hollis
#3 Macdougall and Cornwall

We hope to get number one in the March Past! Let's do it, guys! Let's strive forward and reach out for the goal!

"Hey Danson! We're so fine. We're so fine, we'll blow your mind. Hey Danson!"

Good show, guys! We'll show them what us yellow lads can do!

O yea~

Yeay! My Bluetooth device is working again but still missing its license data though. How? I backed up my system to 22nd June's restore point where I didn't download RegCure yet. I have got my uninstalled programs back but my documents remain untouched. My laptop's not even slow one bit! That's because I removed the programs that I did and updated every program that needs to be updated. Thank goodness for that! Now, I'll be able to send and receive files without a single error!

I'm going to become a busy bee this month. Our annual sports day is just three days from now and I can't wait to get back up on my running feet! His Majesty's birthday is two weeks away and the school's Lit Fest is two days after. I hope it all goes well. By the way, I'd like to thank Fikri for subscribing the premium feature for my TibiaME! At least I have something to do rather than just laze around all day. :)
