Nine?

I don't really have anything to do lately. Several postpones on soccer training. There's not much to do in Gadong either but I did cut my hair earlier in Alan's Saloon in the mall just across Guardian. There's not much difference though. I just wanted layers. I watched 9 The Movie and District 9 last night. (Courtesy of Zul)

"When the world ended, their mission began." I thought the world in this movie ended because of Judgment Day but no. It ended because of the war and the gas canisters launched by the machines killed everything. Soon, things called "stitchpunks" were especially made by a scientist. He finally gives life to the doll with a talisman, and then dies.

I know they're stitched together but why add the 'punks'? Hahaha. I also am wondering. Anyways, I'd say this is the best movie made this year by Tim Burton.

As for District 9. Another movie by Peter Jackson. I thought the movie was going to be documented all the way. It turns out to be a real movie halfway through. You could say this movie is.. racist. For example; Negros = "niggers" right? No offence. In this movie, they call the creatures "prawns".

"In 1982, a large alien spaceship stops above Johannesburg, South Africa. Reports suggest that the ship became stranded after a command module separated from the ship and dropped to Earth, nowhere to be found. An exploratory team discovers a group of one million unhealthy and leaderless members of an arthropod-like extraterrestrial species who are given asylum on Earth. Some of these aliens engage in criminal and destructive activities, which lead to demands from the human population for more control. As a result, the aliens – derogatorily referred to as "prawns" – are confined to a government camp inside Johannesburg, called District 9. The camp is secured and, even with a massive police presence, soon turns into a slum. In the first decade of the 21st century, Multinational United (MNU) is placed in charge of policing and relocating the now 1.8 million aliens to District 10, a new camp 240 kilometres northwest of Johannesburg. They use a private military corporation, headed by Koobus Venter, to enforce the relocation effort with impunity."

These two movies that I've just listed out are must-watch movies! A hero may live or die in a movie. :(

Is there going to be any miracle happening soon?
